We use web measurement tools to tell us how people are using Sustainability.govt.nz (whether they are signing up to the pledge, participating in the forum and which pages they read and so forth), but these tools cannot identify the individuals using the site. Email newsletters

You will only receive email newsletters from us if you have signed up for email newsletters or updates on the sustainability website. Information about which web pages are accessed and by whom is collected so we can determine which articles are of the most interest to our readers. We collect this information by tracking the clicks on individual links within the newsletter.

The information we collect is:

  • How many times a subscriber opened the email
  • How many times a subscriber clicked on links from the email
  • What links that subscriber clicked on.

All our email newsletters contain a link which allows you to unsubscribe at any time.
