There will be an interesting talk organised by Forest and Bird on Thursday evening 5 June, at the Hamilton Gardens' pavillion, on Katherine Hay's recent visit to islands near Antarctica - video and photos will illustrate the wonderful scenery and wildlife. Talk starts 7.30 pm, no charge.

World Environment Day hosted by "clean green" NZ? How ironic.
Our organsisation is aiming for a TRULY clean, green, 100%pure New Zealand by encouraging the cessation of government-approved aerial 1080 poison drops over our beautiful country. Right now, many rural residents are experiencing (or awaiting with dread) the blanket applications of tonnes of poison pellets over thousands of hectares of bush & farmland - this poison raining down upon NZ is killing wildlife, pets & stock and poisoning our land & water.
This is NOT sustainability - this is a crime against nature &, eventually, the human race.
We're saying it has to stop!

Did anyone make their own videos for World Environment Day or document WED events? Anything else coming online YouTube?
