The Auckland Regional Council is seeking nominations for the 2009 Sustainable Environment Awards.
The award categories are:
Individual - for a sustainable environment leadership award
Sustainable schools - sustainable environment achievement award
Youth - environmental guardians of the future
Sustainable communities - a sustainable environment achievement award
Special category - recycling waste minimisation award - available for sustainable business, community or school.
The winners will be announced in February 2010. To nominate yourself or a deserving friend or family call the Auckland Regional Council on 09 366 2000 or visit its website.
