Every New Zealand school, whare kura, kura, kohanga reo and early childhood centre is encouraged to participate in World Environment Day 2008.
The Ministry of Education and Te Kete Ipurangi have launched a new website - ‘Show the Way Today’. The website will provide a place where each school can share their plans for a sustainable future. Overseas schools can also sign in to share their plans.
On 5 June, World Environment Day, the site will reveal each school’s plan. A map will show activities across the country and around the world.
