Your ‘Next Step’ Plan is a personalised plan to help you select steps to live more sustainably. We’ve created a list of steps for you to choose from – simply select the steps that work for you. Once you’ve created and saved your ‘Next Step’ Plan, you can keep your list of steps as a reminder.
Creating your ‘Next Step’ Plan takes just three simple steps.
Step 1 — Select your steps
Choose your steps from the list. Pick the ones that work for you; there’s no need to select them all.
You can select steps based on the following options:
The list can be filtered into the seven topics — rubbish, water, energy, building, transport, gardening, and shopping.
The steps can also be filtered by life circumstances. So if you don’t own your own home, have a car, or have a garden, you can filter out the steps that don’t apply to you.
Step 2 — Save your steps
Once you have selected the steps you want in your ‘Next Step’ Plan, you can create a printable plan by clicking on the ‘save my steps’ button.
You’ll then be directed to the user account page to register or login. Having a user account means that you can save your ‘Next Step’ Plan, and come back to it later to update.
With a user account you can also comment on our discussion forum and blogs, and rate your favourite pages on the site.
Step 3 — Start stepping!
Put your ‘Next Step’ Plan into action!
This site has lots of information to help you take your next steps.
Every step makes a difference! Together we can really help the environment — the more of us that step up, the bigger the difference we’ll all make.
